Deputy Culture Minister Dimiter Dereliev and Ms. Tarja Laytiaynen - Ambassador of the Republic of Finland in Bulgaria, will present on October 1 from 18.00 a Finish - Bulgarian art gallery project in the Ministry of Culture’s “Sredets” gallery.
   The project was first conceived in 2006 when the authors Daniela Todorova and Todor Todorov from Bulgaria and Liisa Malkamo and Elina Fyorsti from Finland met in Finland at the "Nellimarkka" Alayarvi Museum. The project includes 8 joint exhibitions of the artists - 4 in Bulgaria and 4 in Finland.
   The sixth exhibition in the series will be presented from October 1-st to 11-th, 2009 in the Ministry of Culture’s “Sredets” gallery with the following artists’ works on exibit: from the Finnish side - Liisa Malkamo /graphics/ and Elina Fyorsti /painting / from the Bulgarian side - Todor Todorov /kinetic sculpture/ and Daniela Todorova /paper art /. The exhibition presents a wide range of visual forms, styles and means of expression, showing some of the trends in modern European art.
