The national round of the procedure for completing the Living Human Treasures-Bulgaria National System for the year 2022 has ended. At its meeting, the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Council accepted the work of the National Commission for Assessment of the District Nominations and made a proposal to the Minister of Culture to enter in the National Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Bulgaria the following nominations:

 

            1. Sphere of the National Cultural Heritage, a component from the Register: Knowledge and skills related to traditional crafts

Ø    Nomination: “Knitting fishing nets – a traditional craft from the village of Kosahva, district of Vidin

Ø    Institution: Saznanie Cultural Community Centre-1928, village of Koshava, Municipality of Vidin

Ø    Individual carrier: Ventsislav Dionisov Nikolov

            2. Sphere of the National Cultural Heritage, a component from the Register: Knowledge and skills related to traditional crafts

Ø    Group carrier: A folk group for Turkish folk songs and a Dancing group at Hristo Botev Cultural Community Centre-1932, village of Veselina

 

            6. Sphere of the National Cultural Heritage, a component from the Register: Social customs, rites and festive events

Ø    Nomination:   The pledge – the living practice in the village of Lipnitsa, municipality of Botevgrad

Ø    Institution: Slantse Cultural Community Centre – 1929, village of Lipnitsa, municipality of Botevgrad, district of Sofia

Ø    Group carrier: The community of the village of Lipnitsa, municipality of Botevgrad, 12 representatives of families who “give” a pledge.
