REGIONAL SEMINAR ON THE DIGITAL ECONOMY IN SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES ON MASTERING THE GAME (3.0) ON BUSINESS AND LEGAL ISSUES FOR VIDEO GAME INDUSTRY

   On September 6 and 7, 2021, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) organized a Regional Seminar on Intellectual Property in the Digital Economy of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises on the topic: “Mastering the Game (3.0) in Business and Legal for Industry of Video Games” in collaboration with the Romanian Copyright Office (ORDA), the State Service for Inventions and Trademarks (OSIM), the Romanian-American University in Bucharest, with the support of other international and local partners.

   The seminar will be an excellent occasion to promote intellectual property and video games in Central Europe, the Baltic States and the Mediterranean countries. The conference, which will bring together many gaming industry leaders from the region, will provide an opportunity to present new tools developed for the industry that can improve the strategic use of intellectual property by video game developers, manufacturers and consumers in the region.

   The event will be held online in Bucharest. The work languages will be English and Romanian.
