TEN GRADUATES FROM THE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL OF APPLIED ARTS „SVETI LUKA“ AND THE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL OF ART „TSANKO LAVRENOV“ IN PLOVDIV WERE AWARDED IN THE III NATIONAL COMPETITION „POSTER - KOSTADIN OTONOV“

DRAWINGS BY CHILDREN FROM BULGARIA FEATURING IN A COLLECTION DEDICATED TO THE TOKYO OLYMPIC GAMES

   Japan-s International Kids Art Association (IKA) has published a collection „Kids art collections around the world“ with children-s drawings from around the world, also featuring drawings by Bulgarian children. The IKA was founded in 1991 with the main purpose of developing international exchanges through children-s drawings.

CELEBRATING THE 170TH ANNIVERSARY OF IVAN VAZOV-S BIRTH

   On this day, 170 years ago, the great poet of the people Ivan Vazov was born in the great Vazov family that gave our country generals, commanders, ministers, doctors, journalists. Writer and playwright, publicist, BAS academician, Honorary Doctor of Philology and Minister of Public Enlightenment, fan of all things Bulgarian, the only person designated both by literary critics and our people as „Patriarch of Bulgarian Literature“.

DEPUTY MINISTER OF CULTURE AMELIYA GESHEVA THANKS ALL ORGANIZERS OF CELEBRATIONS AT THE 170TH ANNIVERSARY OF IVAN VAZOV-S BIRTH

The management of the National Library in the person of Director Associate Professor Krasimira Aleksandrova thanked the Ministry of Culture for its support in the realization of the exhibitions that opened today

  Deputy Culture Minister Ameliya Gesheva thanked all the organizers of the celebrations of Ivan Vazov-s 170th birthday. She welcomed the leadership of the St Cyril and Methodius National Library (CMNL), in which two exhibitions dedicated to the Patriarch of Bulgarian literature were opened – “Singer of Two Ages“ and “Bulgaria, I gave everything to you... ". The management of the library in the person of its Director Associate Professor Krasimira Aleksandrova thanked the Ministry of Culture for its support in the realization of the exhibitions. Deputy Minister Gesheva voiced hope that not only many Bulgarians will attend these two exhibitions, but they will also take part in events throughout the country dedicated to Vazov this jubilee year.
