NEF “13 CENTURIES BULGARIA” WILL PRESENT FOR THE FIRST TIME A NATIONAL AWARD FOR DISTINGUISHED YOUNG SCIENTISTS OR ARTISTS

  NEF “13 Centuries Bulgaria” will present for the first time the National Award for Distinguished Young Scientists or Artists. The six nominees are already known, only one of whom will receive the cash award of BGN 5,000 to cover their tuition costs. Bulgarian citizens up to the age of 35 years with a higher education degree in the arts and in science and with innovative achievements in the field participated in the competition.

OPINION ON THE CLAIMS CONCERNING THE PROJECT FOR CONSERVATION, RESTORATION AND EXHIBITION OF THE THRACIAN TOMB AT THE VILLAGE OF SVESHTARI

 On the occasion of statements made in the media by Prof. Diana Gergova, consultant in the “Conservation, Restoration and Exhibition of the Thracian Tomb at the Village of Sveshtari: Return to the Authenticity of the Site” project, which won the funding of the US Ambassador-s Fund for Cultural Preservation, managed by the Credo Bonum Foundation and supported by the Ministry of Culture by letter No. 68‑00‑189/04‑01‑2018, we feel obliged to provide a few clarifications.

THE NATIONAL SCHOOL OF FOLK ARTS IN KOTEL OPENED THE SCHOOL YEAR IN A RENEWED BUILDING FUNDED BY A EUROPEAN PROJECT FOR BGN 3.8 MILLION

The students of the National School of Folk Arts “Philip Kutev” in Kotel start the new school year in a completely renovated building.

   The only school of folk arts of its kind in Northern Bulgaria was modernized with the grant of BGN 3.8 million under the project “Reconstruction and new multifunctional hall of the National School of Folk Arts “Philip Kutev” – Kotel” of Operational Programme “Regions in Growth” 2014 – 2020.

Arts and Culture Schools to Hold Information Classes during the Road Safety Days from 16 to 22 September 

   Arts and Culture Schools will hold information classes during the Road Safety Days from 16 September to 22 September. The Ministry of Culture sent information about the campaign under the motto: “Stay Alive! Save the Life!” to the 23 schools, as well as to the “Bulgarian Museums” Association, and each of the participants will choose the most appropriate form to acquaint the students with the efforts worldwide to reduce road fatalities and the students- role in this process.

THE SCHOOL YEAR IN THE ARTS AND CULTURE SCHOOLS WILL BE OPENED WITH ATTENDANCE ON 15 SEPTEMBER IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE GUIDELINES OF THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE

  The new 2020/2021 academic year in the 23 schools of arts and culture with the Ministry of Culture will be opened on 15 September in compliance with all the mandatory measures in accordance with the Guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Science for the organization of the work of the school system in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is recommended that the celebrations in the school yards be for the newly admitted students in the first, fifth and eighth grade.
